Ghostly ghouls, golden leaves and the beauty of autumn is finally upon us. What better time of year to be inspired and add a little love to your home.
As those comfy, cosy, warm nights in come around, we look back at some of the made to measure blinds installed throughout October. From barn conversions to new builds a busy month has seen us travelling over the whole of Norwich and Norfolk helping those looking to make the most of their windows. Here are some of the highlights and the stories behind the work.
Roller Blinds Installed Trowse, Norwich, Norfolk
Who said romance was dead? We fell in love with this gorgeous ruby red roller blind the moment it was installed.
A wonderful couple in the Trowse area of Norwich, Norfolk have renovated what many years ago would have formed part of a paddocks and is now home to several converted properties.
Along with some red accessories this red roller blind is so simple and yet so effective at creating a real impact in this beautiful kitchen. Roller blinds were also installed in the living room as well as Velux blinds in the bedroom.
Vertical Blinds installed Costessey, Norwich, Norfolk
Modern and sophisticated, this gorgeous grey fabric was installed throughout the downstairs of a new build three story house in Costessey, Norwich, Norfolk.
Shaun and Leanne had just moved in and wanted vertical blinds for the kitchen window, living room and patio doors. Further pictures of the full install can be found on our social media pages such as Facebook and twitter.
Roman Blinds installed Horsford, Norwich, Norfolk
Diamonds really are a girls best friend. Again, another amazing couple moving into a new build. This time in Horsford, Norwich, Norfolk.
Amy and Tom really wanted to create a feature in this beautiful bay window and decided upon this gorgeous diamond pattern in teal. Made to measure, the pattern was matched to line up and fit perfectly into the bay.
Wood Venetian Blinds installed Old Catton, Norwich, Norfolk
Another gorgeous bay window, perry and his partner wanted clean white wooden venetian blinds to match what they had in other rooms throughout the house.
Located towards Old Catton, Norwich, Norfolk, this old victorian terrace has been given a full overhaul. The whole house looks sensational.
The window sills here were extremely shallow, therefore we recommended a narrow 25mm wooden slat so it would fall nicely landing onto the sill without sticking out. We also took the extra time, as we do with all our wood venetian blind installs, to mitre in all the valances across the headrails giving a seamless finish.
This home is gorgeous throughout from the colour on the front door to the beautiful fitted kitchen. It was a real pleasure to be asked to install the blinds.
Velux Blinds installed Trowse, Norwich, Norfolk
Returning back to the gorgeous paddock featured earlier, Velux Blinds were also required for the vaulted ceiling in the bedroom.
Lucy, the home owner is a lover of natural light and although they required blinds she really wanted to keep the space bright. The fabric chosen has a level of opacity but theres also blackout option for those of us that aren't morning people.
